A Mac dictation app. Press ⌥Space, speak, and the text lands at your cursor in any app. It runs on your own ElevenLabs API key, spells the words you add to your dictionary correctly, and turns spoken snippet commands into the text you mapped them to.

Audio goes straight from your Mac to ElevenLabs. Multilingual, code-switching, punctuation, fillers left out.
Personal dictionary
Add names, product terms and multilingual phrases once — they get spelled your way.
Voice snippets
Say "personal email", get marie@lalfred.app. Say "signature", get your sign-off.
Matches surrounding text
Lowercases mid-sentence and adds a missing space. Heuristic, and a toggle in General.
Menubar only
No dock icon, no notifications — a small overlay while you speak, a sound at start and stop.

About

I wanted the best speech model at my keyboard — English is my second language and dictating gets me there faster than typing. Scribe v2 takes two or three seconds where on-device Whisper feels instant, and those seconds are worth more than the ones spent fixing the output.

WhisperFlow and SuperWhisper do this well, but hide the best models behind an $8-to-$12-per-month subscription. So I built the version I wanted: free, open source, on your own key. It's now my daily input to nearly every app I open, so it keeps getting sharper.
